Hello friends,

I hope you’re all having a happy holiday season. First, allow me to apologize for neglecting this blog for so long. It’s been a really crazy couple of years, as I’m sure all of you know. So I will now attempt to catch you up on what has been happening in my world. 

Since the last blog post, I have opened the Academy & Apothecary space at 34 Pleasant St. in Morrisville, VT. Due to the events of early 2020 I was forced to “quit my day job” and I am now pursuing Rogue Herbalist as my full time career. This was an incredibly scary leap to make but I am so glad that I did it. Now I am able to put 100% of my focus into my goal, which is to bring you the highest quality herbal products at a fair price. 

Not only that but our new goal is to create one of the best herbal schools in all of the country. This process has been slower than anticipated, but Rome wasn’t built in a day. We have all the means to grow a flourishing herbal community in northern Vermont. We have a brick & mortar storefront, we have a commercial kitchen, we have an excellent library and classroom space big enough for 10-12 students. I am in talks with local naturopaths, acupuncturists, herbalists, and more folks that are excited to be part of the faculty. Hopefully by spring of 2022 we will launch our herbal curriculum.   

Last December I found the love of my life and we got married on October 16. We are quite complimentary; two sides of the same coin if you will. We are similar and different in all the ways that matter. She is helping me to make this business better than ever. We have a golden retriever who loves to join us on hikes and camping trips. We are blessed to be part of a strong and resilient community. Life is pretty darn good, all things considered.

I will keep this post relatively short but I will end it with a promise. I promise to be better about creating content. I need to write more articles and create more educational videos. There will be more events at the herb shop in 2022 and I hope to see you all there.
