There was so much more I wish I could have communicated in this interview with Elissa Borden, but of course the segment is only a couple minutes long so it had to be concise. If I had a longer segment on TV to communicate to the masses, here is what I would tell them.

I have been studying and practicing herbalism for close to 20 years at this point, starting with a book I found in my high school years. This passion for plants stayed with me over the years and I have continued to study and expand my experience. I started this business in 2018 but we didn’t open the Apothecary until May of 2020. So now we are in the third year of having the Rogue Herbalist Academy & Apothecary. We manufacture our own line of Artisan Herbal Extracts which we also wholesale into retail health food shops, naturopathic clinics, herb stores, and more. We are a full service apothecary with over a hundred bulk herbs, dozens of tinctures, supplements, vitamins, honeys, body care products and more. We offer herbal consultations as well as custom formulation. This year we expanded our educational medicinal herb garden that features Comfrey, Calendula, Baptisia, Skullcap, Motherwort, Catnip, Yarrow, Lemon Balm, Feverfew, Chamomile, Vervain, Chickweed, Ashwagandha, Cayenne, Wormwood, Goji, and many more!

The goal of our establishment is not only to provide the public with these essential offerings, but also to educate and revivify the lost traditions of herbalism. We host classes, workshops, and soon we will be launching our Rogue Herbalist Certified Herbalist Course. We will train you in the science of herbalism and you will get real world, hands on experience. Check back for more details as this develops!
