Devil’s Claw is a powerful bitter root that comes from Africa. It is a member of the sesame family and derives its name from the hooked fruits that it grows. The bitterness of this plant makes it a powerful digestive stimulant, but it is also well known for it’s anti-rheumatic properties. I have personally used it in formulas with great success.
