Iodine is a critical mineral for thyroid health and metabolism. Kelp is a natural source of Iodine and delivers supportive phytochemicals along with the mineral. It is indicated for hypothyroidism (low thyroid) as well as goiter caused by deficient iodine intake. It can help to improve energy levels and speed up metabolism.


RDA: 150 – 290mcg (higher end if pregnant or lactating)

Iodine is a negatively charged salt. Most of it goes to the thyroid. Most of the salts tend to absorb through the brush border. Goes through the blood to the Thyroid. The Thyroid “traps” the iodine, incorporates it into thyroglobulin, which is then broken down to make thyroid hormones.

Whatever the thyroid does not use, the rest goes out through the urine. We need Vitamin A for proper utilization of Iodine.

Anything from the ocean → seaweeds, shellfish, fish, etc. Kelp, Bladderwrack, Prunes, etc.

1 drop delivers 150mcg Iodine and 2mg Kelp. Take 1 drop once per day in a little water in the morning.
