Its actions are Bitter, digestive, alterative, antipyretic, antiseptic, antiemetic, and anthelmintic. According to K.P. Khalsa, it is used for parasites, various skin diseases (including eczema, ringworm, urticaria), malaria, fever, cough, vomiting, nausea, thirst, diabetes, tumors, jaundice, rheumatism, arthritis, and obesity.
