Jamaican Sarsaparilla, is a woody, climbing vine native to Central and South America, as well as the Caribbean. It is a member of the Smilacaceae family and features distinctive heart-shaped leaves and sharp thorns along its stems. Historically, indigenous tribes in the region used sarsaparilla root in beverages as a tonic for joint health, skin issues, and libido. We also offer a Sarsaparilla tincture.
