Skullcap is incredibly safe and is one of my go-to herbs for anxiety. It is mild enough for children but strong enough to address panic attacks. Helpful with insomnia or nerve pain. Add to formulas with carminative and aromatic herbs for anxiety that results in gastrointestinal upset. Skullcap is one of the key herbs in our best selling formula Hemp Adapt.

Safety Information: American Skullcap (Scutellaria lateriflora) has a long history of traditional use and is generally well tolerated when consumed as directed. Rare reports of liver injury associated with products sold as “skullcap” have largely been attributed to adulteration or misidentification with germander (Teucrium species), a different plant known to contain potentially hepatotoxic compounds. This product contains only authenticated Scutellaria lateriflora.
