White Willow Bark, Organic, 1oz. bag
White Willow Bark is commonly thought of as Nature’s Aspirin or the original plant in which aspirin (salicylic acid) was found. While it is true that Willow Bark is a source of salicylic acid, the original aspirin plant was actually Meadowsweet. Regardless, White Willow Bark has secured its place as nature’s aspirin and indeed it is a good natural anti-inflammatory herb. Willow Bark is a source of salicin and salicyl glycosides. It is specific for sores of the mucosa, such as ulcers, fever with intermittent chills, rheumatism, menstrual irritation and tiredness. Other uses include headache, pain, general inflammation. We also offer White Willow Bark Tincture.
Sold in 1oz. quantities. If you want multiple ounces, just add multiple quantities.
