Achillea millefolium

Yarrow has a long history and is named after the great warrior Achilles, the great hero of the Trojan War. The actions of this plant are: astringent, anti-inflammatory, hemostatic, as a tonic for the vascular system, diaphoretic and antifever, antiseptic and vulnerary, as well as an aromatic digestive bitter. This plant is also a good herb for menstrual cramps and varicose veins. Try it on bug bites, as it’s drawing qualities may help to draw out the poison and soothe the itch.

This Yarrow Tincture is part of our Artisan Collection of tinctures and products that we make on site in Morrisville, Vermont, and is made from Locally Wildcrafted Fresh Aerial Parts. Extracted in 47.5% Organic Cane Alcohol & Reverse Osmosis Maple Water. Herb Strength Ratio: 1:2. Take 30 drops in water or juice, 1 – 3 times daily, or as needed.
